The Holy Spirit spoke to him, “And your enemies will become like grasshoppers in your own sight.” This is a flip on what happened with the 10 spies who gave a bad report concerning the land they were to posses out of Numbers 13. They saw the enemy as large and foreboding so that empowered the enemy to act that way. James challenges us that our attitude determines our perspective which shifts our vision and level of faith.
